Can you help the Carbon Trust accelerate change in a specific sector?

Through the Low Carbon Technology Assessment supplemented by other strategic studies, the Carbon Trust has identified specific areas where we feel our intervention (funding, coordination and expertise) will have the greatest impact in accelerating a sector as a whole.

Our investment criteria are therefore based not only on the reduction of CO2 emissions but also on the larger impact that our investment will have on the UK economy.

By filling the technological and commercial gaps we are providing the sector with the missing pieces necessary for growth.

Low carbon refurbishment of buildings - Management guide
This guide is aimed at those who wish to ensure that a planned refurbishment delivers carbon savings, in addition to meeting its other objectives.

 
Micro-CHP Accelerator - Interim Report
This report shows that current Micro-CHP technologies have significant potential to deliver CO2 savings in small commercial environments and larger homes or older houses with solid walls.
