Grant Funded Projects

Since 2001, the Carbon Trust has committed over £16m to supporting Applied Research in business and academia, leveraging over £24m of other investment into these projects.

We are committed to targeting and supporting ground-breaking projects that demonstrate a potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Projects the Carbon Trust has awarded funding to are listed below and contain a link to a one-page profile on the project. These project profiles explain the project's aims and objectives, detail the amount of funding awarded, list contact details for the project team and briefly summarise the detail of the project. Projects which are still going through the selection process or are agreed subject to contract are not listed.

For examples of what the projects have been able to achieve with Applied Research grant funding, please go to Project Case Studies.
