To date Carbon Trust Investments has co-invested £10.8m across twelve companies which together have raised £110m in total. Recently we have invested £1m into 4energy, an innovatiove cooling system developer. Other recent investments include £2m into CamSemi, an energy efficient power supply unit developer; and £700k into Green Biologics, a developer of novel fermentation processes for the biofuel sector.

  4energy's innovative cooling systems have proven to reduce the energy used to regulate the temperature of critical industrial electronic equipment by up to 90%.

GreenBiologics   Industrial biotechnology company which is developing "next-generation" biofuels. Butafuel (TM) is their superior and sustainable transport fuel based on bio-butanol.

Heliswirl   Developer of Small Amplitude Helical Technology, which increases transport efficiency of fluids. (Website under construction)

Natural   UK leader in sustainable building materials and systems for the shell of buildings.

Pelamis   Developers of off-shore semi submerged, articulated wave energy power conversion modules.
