- Raise awareness by distributing leaflets at staff meetings, through staff magazines or by having posters in key areas.
- Motivate staff to identify, report and implement energy saving suggestions.
- Training should be undertaken to provide staff with a better understanding of the importance of energy efficiency within the organisation.
- New staff should also be asked for feedback as they may be able to spot problems more readily than those who have been there for some time.
- Involve staff as energy monitors to walk around the building at certain times of the day/week/month to check for energy wastage.
