Energy Management

Housekeeping

Energy management is an ongoing process and there should be a continuous focus on energy saving.

Conduct Regular Energy Walk-Rounds
  • Check energy saving measures that have been implemented are still being followed.
  • Use a walk-round checklist to help you to identify energy savings and compare one walk-round with another. (See Walk-Round Survey)
  • Look for new measures that can be introduced.

Check:
  • Temperature settings of any heating and cooling equipment are set to the appropriate levels.
  • Occupancy activity levels and the temperature requirements of the process have remained the same.
  • Time settings of any heating and cooling equipment match occupancy or product requirements.
