CHP Club

 

The CHP Club is an initiative under the Carbon Trust's Delivery programme, aimed at assisting users and potential users in getting the maximum benefits from CHP. All of the advice and services available, including forums and advice facilities on CHP related topics, are impartial, professional and free of charge.

CHP Club members’ benefits include:

  • The Manager's Guide to CHP - There are two versions of the guide, one for large-scale industrial CHP and one for packaged CHP.
  • Free site specific advice - members have access to experts on the club's independent consultants panel. Advice may be by phone or could involve an onsite visit.
  • Champion's Network - access to a voluntary knowledge sharing team.
  • Internet forum - where members share their views and keep up to date with the latest developments.
  • Newsletter - a quarterly publication of the latest news and views.
  • Events - a range of events run by the Carbon Trust and other organisations.
  • International links and news - access to a worldwide perspective on the options for CHP.

Club membership is aimed at:

  • energy managers
  • site engineers
  • decision makers, who would like to receive help in making an informed decision about CHP, and
  • those who already operate CHP schemes.
  • It is also open to trade associations of sectors that have CHP potential.
