Civil Estate Benchmarking tool
A simple-to-use online tool allowing energy managers to calculate the energy performance of a building periodically, such as once a year, and compare it against benchmarks for similar buildings within the Government's Estate.
Office Benchmarking tool The offices benchmarking tool is in two parts. The first part calculates a simple benchmark based on the type of office space, number of workstations and standard occupancy. The second part allows the benchmark to be tailored to be more specific to the building. The tailoring allows working hours, including weekend working, to be specified for each type of office space within the building. Details of catering, vending and IT equipment and machine/computer rooms can be added.
Hospitality Industry Benchmarking tool Enables you to see how your premises compare with industry norms in terms of energy consumption, energy costs and energy management. Also provides specific advice on using energy more efficiently and reducing avoidable waste, while adding to customer comfort.
Sports Benchmarking tool A simple step-wise tool allowing sports centre managers to calculate the energy performance of their buildings and compare them to UK good practice benchmarks.
Schools Benchmarking Tool This tool can be used to compare the Energy schools use against the typical energy consumption for UK schools. Containing data on over 40,000 schools, the tool can indicate which schools need to address their energy policies, and provides useful advice on how to reduce energy consumption and costs.
This Tool contains confidential data and the full version is ONLY accessible to Local Education Authorities Officers.
However, individual schools can utilise the demo version to compare against typical benchmark data.
