How we work with you
We collaborate with groups of organisations to manage and implement carbon-saving ideas. We focus on the barriers to carbon saving within an industry, and share learning and transfer skills and knowledge to generate carbon savings. Ultimately we aim to mobilise an industry or supply chain to act on what we’ve learnt.
Projects focus on:
- organisations within specific sectors
- technologies and issues spanning a number of supply chains
- a single industry-level supply chain

We aim to offer:
- a partnership approach that capitalises on the Carbon Trust’s experience in carbon savings initiatives
- effective project evaluation and robust project management

- shared learning and transfer of skills and knowledge across sectors and location.
To date, our collaborative work with organisations has saved 410,000 tonnes of carbon. Our joint value chain project with the British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF) is an example of our partnerships.
