What you need to apply now

Before you start your application, you need to ensure you have certain information to hand, listed below. If you already have everything you need, you can start your application now.

All Carbon Trust business loan applications are made entirely online. Though you can save and return to an application you have started, you may find it easier to fully complete the application in one sitting. You’ll need the following information before you start your application:

Registered company details

Registered name, address and registration number.

Energy saving assessment

When describing your energy saving project in your application, include:

• Annual energy consumption of equipment being replaced
• Annual energy consumption of equipment being installed
• Information about the projected annual energy savings for the project

Supplier quotes

The electronic copy of your supplier quote must be on their headed paper and include:

• Your registered company name
• Your supplier’s registered number
• Your supplier's VAT number
• A quotation reference number
• Details of the equipment to be supplied

State aid

Details of De Minimis state aid your business has received in the past three years.

(This includes any financial benefit a business gains by not paying interest, possibly including grants from other organisations.)
