Originally viewed as just an ‘SRI issue’, climate risk is now recognised more as an issue of medium term financial risk. Unfortunately, whilst the implications of the EU ETS on the utilities sector are well documented, understanding of the risks and implications on other high energy or high impact sectors are still less well understood.
