Carbon Trust experience indicates that Advanced Metering,if properly used as a demand management tool, reducesenergy consumption (and costs) by between 10% and 15%.In addition, effective energy and carbon management (i.e. actively managing risks and opportunities associated with climate change and carbon emissions) relies on theavailability of appropriate management information.
