Businesses and public sector organisations 2007 Annual Report
saved up to 2 million tonnes of C02 in
2006/07.

In the last year our customers have
saved a record amount of C02, and
the equivalent of some £170 million
in energy costs. With further potential
savings in the region of 5 million tonnes
of C02 identified in 2006/07, momentum
is growing.

Working with trade and professional bodies and trade unions, 41 projects so far have been funded by the Carbon Trust and some 200,000 tonnes of C02 have been saved since the Networks Initiative started.
